Membership Policy
PADICHAT MEMBERSHIP / SUBSCRIPTION POLICY
This Membership / Subscription Policy governs the Padichat OG Membership (“OG Membership” or “Membership”) offered by Gocarts Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By subscribing to the OG Membership, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Use.
The OG Membership is a paid subscription tier that gives you enhanced access to Padichat community features and exclusive benefits. It is separate from and in addition to your free Padichat account.
2.1 Current membership tier
Padichat OG — Founding Member
- Price: $40.00 per year (or $5.00 per month where monthly billing is available)
- This is the founding member rate, available to early subscribers
- We reserve the right to increase this price in the future with appropriate notice (see Section 6)
2.2 OG Membership benefits
Your OG Membership includes:
Community benefits:
- Exclusive “OG” badge displayed on your community profile
- Access to exclusive OG-only community channels and discussions
- Priority visibility in the member directory
- Early access to new platform features before general release
Event benefits:
- 20% discount on all paid Padichat events
- Priority ticket access before general sale
- Invitation to exclusive OG-only events (where available)
- Member-only virtual hangouts and sessions
Shop benefits:
- 20% discount on all Padichat shop purchases
- Early access to new product drops and limited editions
- Access to exclusive OG-only merchandise (where available)
Recognition:
- Listed as a founding member on the Padichat community (with your consent)
- Direct input into community development decisions through OG member surveys
2.3 Future membership tiers
We may introduce additional membership tiers in the future. Existing OG members will be notified of any new tiers and their respective pricing before they are launched.
3.1 Billing cycle
- Annual billing: charged once per year on the anniversary of your subscription start date
- Monthly billing (where available): charged once per month on the same date each month
3.2 Payment methods
We accept:
- Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards
- American Express
- PayPal
- Other payment methods as displayed at checkout
3.3 Automatic renewal
Your OG Membership automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You will receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before your renewal date. This email will confirm the amount to be charged and provide instructions for cancelling if you do not wish to renew.
3.4 Failed payments
If your payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method again after 3 days and again after 7 days
- You will receive an email notification of the failed payment
- If payment is not successfully collected within 14 days of the original renewal date, your Membership will be suspended
- Your Membership benefits will be restored immediately upon successful payment
3.5 Price changes
If we increase the price of OG Membership:
- We will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect
- The new price will apply from your next renewal date after the notice period
- If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before your renewal date (see Section 5)
4.1 First month free (founding member offer)
Where we offer a “first month free” or introductory pricing for new OG members:
- The free period begins on the date you subscribe
- At the end of the free period, your paid subscription begins automatically
- You will receive an email reminder before the free period ends
- You may cancel before the free period ends without being charged
4.2 Promotional pricing
Promotional or discounted pricing applies only for the duration of the stated promotional period. After the promotional period, your subscription will renew at the standard price unless you cancel.
5.1 How to cancel
You may cancel your OG Membership at any time by:
- Logging into your Padichat account → Account Settings → Membership → Cancel Membership
- Contacting us at [email protected] with “Cancel Membership” in the subject line
5.2 When cancellation takes effect
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to all OG Membership benefits until the end of the paid period
- You will not be charged again after your cancellation takes effect
5.3 No partial refunds for cancellation
We do not provide partial refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period upon cancellation, except:
- Where required by applicable consumer protection law
- At our discretion in exceptional circumstances (contact [email protected])
5.4 Effect of cancellation
Upon cancellation taking effect:
- Your OG badge will be removed from your profile
- Access to exclusive OG channels will be revoked
- OG discounts on shop and events will no longer apply
- Your free Padichat account remains active, you keep access to the standard community
6.1 Annual subscriptions
If you subscribed on an annual basis and wish to cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription or annual renewal date, you are entitled to a full refund under our 14-day cooling-off period.
To request a refund under the cooling-off period:
- Contact [email protected] within 14 days of payment
- Include your account email and subscription date
- We will process your refund within 10 business days
After the 14-day cooling-off period, annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
6.2 Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing month. Your membership will remain active until the end of the paid month.
6.3 Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law, including rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, or CCPA.
7.1 Suspension by us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your OG Membership (without refund) if you:
- Violate our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines
- Are permanently banned from Padichat
- Engage in abusive behaviour toward other members or Padichat staff
- Attempt to fraudulently use membership benefits
- Provide false information in connection with your membership
7.2 Termination by us
In addition to suspension, we may permanently terminate your membership and ban you from the platform in cases of serious or repeated violations. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
7.3 Platform discontinuation
If Padichat discontinues the OG Membership programme or the platform entirely:
- We will provide at least 30 days notice to all active members
- All members will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of their paid subscription period
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 days of the platform or programme discontinuation
We reserve the right to change the features and benefits included in the OG Membership at any time. If we make material changes that significantly reduce the value of the membership:
- We will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
- You may cancel within 14 days of the notice and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period
We may add new benefits to the OG Membership at any time without notice.
OG Membership is personal to the account holder and is non-transferable. You may not:
- Share your membership benefits with other users
- Transfer your membership to another person or account
- Use membership discounts on behalf of others without our prior written consent
This Membership Policy is governed by the laws of the state of California, United States and forms part of our general Terms of Use. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
